At least seven members of a family including woman and children died as roof of a mud house collapsed after a dumper smashed into it.
Rescue sources said the vehicle lost control and crashed into the house at Double Road. As a result, the roof of the ill-fated house caved in.
The victims include four girls, a woman and two men. They are members of a same family.
The driver of dumper managed to escape from the scene.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Sanaullah Zehri has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives and directed for immediate rescue operation.
