“All rules of war have been broken in Gaza”, with at least eight schools housing displaced Palestinians attacked by Israel in last 10 days, says UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini. but West is lip tightened on these violations .Taking advantage of this situation Russia is exploiting  it in Ukraine.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent reports at least 81 killed in day of attacks targeting homes and UN facilities in Gaza.

Riyad Mansour, Palestine’s envoy to the UN, tells the UN Security Council that Israel’s war on Gaza is the “most documented genocide in history”.

The death toll in Israel from the Hamas-led attacks on October 7 is estimated at 1,139, with dozens of people still held captive in Gaza.At least eight Palestinians were killed in al-Zawayda town in central Deir el-Balah governorate.

At least two Palestinians were killed in the Bureij refugee camp, in the Deir el-Balah area, east of the Salah al-Din Street.

At least five were injured in a residential flat that was targeted in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

The Israeli Air Force also targeted agricultural land in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

Constant artillery shelling was overheard in the eastern areas of Beit Hanoon town in northern Gaza.

The Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) has condemned the “massacres” carried out by Israel’s “ongoing genocide” in Gaza and its military escalations in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The committee, the highest executive body of the PLO, held Israel and its ally, the United States, “responsible for the genocide” in Gaza and escalations in the occupied Palestinian territory.

In a meeting held in Ramallah, the committee “affirmed the continued struggle and resistance of the Palestinian people to achieve freedom and independence and obtain all their rights, including refugees’ right of return, the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent and fully sovereign state with Jerusalem as its capital”.

The Israeli army says it killed two fighters belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), including the chief of the group’s naval force in Gaza.

The military named him as Anas Murad. The second was Ahmed al-Masri who the military says was associated with the PIJ and participated in the October 7 attack.

Along with Hamas and others, PIJ is one of the armed groups that Human Rights Watch listed in a report on Wednesday as perpetrators of the assault against communities in southern Israel.
