Nine people of a family died after AC compressor explosion in Faisalabad

All nine members of the family dead as two more burnt in Faisalabad’s Sharifpura fire incident succumbed to injuries,  News Channels reported citing sources.

According to sources, the deceased include 52-year-old Farhat, her two daughters-in-law Nargis and Rashida, Granddaughters Fatima and Iman Fatima, grandsons Ibrahim, Rehan and Taha.

Farhat’s 24-year-old son, Ali Raza, was also among those who lost their lives.

Yesterday, two members of the family died in Faisalabad’s Sharifpura fire incident increasing death toll to six.

Two injured Makky Raza and his sister-in-law admitted at Allied Hospital here succumbed to their injuries increasing death toll in June 18 fire incident that have claimed six lives of a family so far.

Seven persons includuing three minors died while two others were critically injured late on Sunday night when a compressor  of an air-conditioner (AC) blew up due to technical fault in Sharifpura of Faisalabad city .

The explosion was so intense that the roof and walls of the building damaged badly. Those were killed were identified as Rayan (8), Rashida (30) Makki Raza (22) Eiman Fatima (4) Three other women. 

Injured told that fire broke out in the room after bursting of compressor at night. Inmates could not protect themselves due to deep-sleep and leakage of gas which made them senseless. Hospitsl Authorities say that conditrion of two women is precarious

Police and the rescue workers also reached the spot and shifted the injured to Allied  Hospital's Burns Ward
