Multiple road accidents across Pakistan have resulted in at least 17 deaths and injuries to at least 56 people.

Six vehicles collided due to zero visibility amid dense smog on National Highway in Thatta as a result of which five people were killed and 11 injured.
The dead bodies and injured had been shifted to the Thatta Civil Hospital.
Meanwhile, two people were killed and 10 injured in another smog-related accident when a passenger bus rammed into a trailer standing on the road in Bhakkar.
The dead and the injured had been shifted to nearby hospital and some of the injured have been in critical condition.
The bus was reportedly on way to Rawalpindi from Uch Sharif.
The Motorway Police have advised the people to limit unnecessary travel and drive vehicles carefully.

According to the police, the accident occurred due to speeding. The bodies of the deceased and the injured have been transferred to Sheikh Zahid Hospital. Further investigations into the incident are underway, as reported by Express News.
According to Rescue 1122, 12 people were injured in a collision between a flying coach and a vehicle at Rani, Lower Dir. The injured individuals were given initial medical aid and transferred to Timergara Hospital, as reported by Express News.
Preliminary reports indicate that the flying coach was traveling from Tal Kamrat to Timergara. The injured passengers include Bachakhan, Abdul Qahar, Sajid, Mohammad Sher, Abdal, Fazal Karim, Rohullah, Abdullah, Arshad Fahad, and Sameer.
Hazara motorway accident: Police officer dies while assisting motorists
A tragic traffic accident near Hazara Motorway (Chinar Kot) claimed the life of Police Sub-Inspector Shabbir Ahmed, who was providing assistance to a stranded vehicle. Head Constable Sohail Malik was also injured in the incident, as reported by Express News.
According to the Motorway Police spokesperson, the accident occurred due to the negligence and carelessness of a pickup truck driver. At the time of the incident, both officers were helping with a broken-down vehicle on the road.
Upon receiving the accident report, both officers were transferred to DHQ Battagram in critical condition. Sub-Inspector Shabbir Ahmed was later shifted to AMC Abbottabad, where he succumbed to his injuries. Doctors stated that multiple fractures and internal injuries were the cause of death.
The Motorway Police confirmed that the negligent driver has been arrested. Inspector General of National Highways and Motorway Police, Salman Chaudhry, expressed his condolences.
