The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday arrested TikToker Sandal Khattak in a case related to the leaked videos of another TikToker, Hareem Shah.
The FIA took Khattak in custody after Special Judge Central Azam Khan dismissed her petition seeking pre-arrest bail in the case based on the complaint of Hareem Shah for leaking her objectionable videos on social media.
Both the social media personalities appeared before the court along with their counsel.
Following her objectionable video clips were posted on social media by an unidentified user, Shah accused her estranged friends Khattak and Ayesha Naz of stealing the videos from her mobile phone when they were living together and breaching her privacy.
She then filed a complaint with the FIA under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act. She also brought the leaked videos and objectionable photographs on the judicial record.
Before the court, Khattak stated that the videos of Shah had been leaked recently while they were not in speaking terms for several months.
Khattak claimed that neither she was the maker of the objectionable videos nor did she leak the clips on social media.
After hearing the arguments of the counsel of both the TikTokers, the judge rejected the pre-arrest bail plea of Khattak. The FIA officials arrested her from outside the court.
