A female suicide bomber attacked a vehicle belonging to the Frontier Corps (FC) in Turbat city, Balochistan, on Saturday evening, resulting in the martyrdom of one policeman.
According to police sources, a lady police constable was also wounded in the attack. The injured police officer was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the police swiftly arrived at the scene and initiated the collection of evidence to investigate the incident.
A senior administration officer confirmed that the attack was carried out by a woman suicide bomber. As a result, an investigation has been launched to determine the details surrounding the attack.
Expressing deep sorrow and condolences, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan conveyed his regret over the martyrdom of the police officer and the injury sustained by the female officer in the blast. He directed the law enforcement agencies to apprehend the individuals responsible for this act of terrorism.
