At least 15 terrorists have been killed by security forces in Balochistan's Panjgur and Naushki after separate attacks were successfully repulsed last night, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement on Thursday.
"Security forces carried out clearance operations to hunt down terrorists hiding in the area."
The military's media wing elaborated that five terrorists were killed by security forces in Naushki, bringing the total tally to nine. Four soldiers, including an officer, were martyred while repulsing the attack on Wednesday night.
In Panjgur, at least four to five terrorists are surrounded by troops and while four others were killed. The ISPR said the operation to eliminate fleeing terrorists is "continuing".
The military said communication between the terrorists and their handlers in India and Afghanistan was also intercepted.
