The Karakoram Highway (KKH) between Thalechi to Chilas, on Wednesday, was opened for all types of traffic after completion of restoration work.
According to the details, the KKH remained partially closed for the last 17 hours.
Workers of Frontier Works Organization removed debris from landslides and roadsides which opened it for two way traffic.
It is pertinent to state here that the heavy monsoon rains and landslides damaged KKH between Chilas and Gilgit.
