Punjab Government, acknowledging the services of noted industrialist, reformist and philanthropist Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi for humanity, appointed him Chairman of Punjab Employees Social Security Health management Committee. It may be recalled that Kawaja Jalaluddin Roomi had served as caretaker Punjab minister for industries, President of Multan Chamber of Commerce, and as Chairman board of Management of Nishtar Medical College and Hospital.He is also serving as a member Board of Governors Punjab Board of Investment and Trade and Member Board of Governors of Pak aab Authority and a member of the syndicate of Nishtar Medical University. Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi has been endeavouring for educational, health and social development in neglected areas of South Punjab. Recently, Prime Minister Imran has inaugurated 11 Roomi water filtration plants in Multan. He had been doing work on different projects of health facilities and clean water and alleviation of miseries of needy people for the last four decades. Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi is a pioneer in this region who did his utmost for the promotion of economic activities to provide maximum jobs to unemployed persons and bringing prosperity and economic stability in the region.It is hoped that that he would deliver beyond our expectations for the up-gradation of Social Security Hospitals and Dispensaries and other institutions of PESSI
