MULTAN. Feb 7th: Note industrialist, President of Dera Ghazi Khan Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Ex-President of MCCI and former Punjab caretaker Minister for Industries Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi has announced to establish seven almonries (Langar Khanay) in South Punjab and a Langar Khana was established at Mausoleum of Syed Ahmed Sultan Sakhi Sarwar (RA)which was inaugurated by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Uman Buzdar.Similarly, two "Langar Khanay" were established in Vohva and Fazla Kachh where a qualitative meal was being provided with the cooperation of Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi.During the visit of almonries. the Punjab Chief Minister reviewed the facilities being provided there and expressed his satisfaction on the arrangement of almonries. Chief Minister was highly impressed with the devotion and commitment of Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi and his family to serve the needy humanity and he appreciated his social, economic, and welfare activities in South Punjab.
Chief Minister praised the social services of Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi during the pandemic COVID-19 when he not only provided personal protective equipment (PPEs) for the doctors and paramedics treating the coronavirus patients but also provided them ration. CM said “The business community involved in charity has given me encouragement as the government needs its support to solve the problems of people especially during the ongoing crisis,”He appreciated the Jalaluddin Roomi’s services for the provision of ration to the poor during lock-down, and steps for fighting coronavirus outbreak in the area. Chief Minister said that Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi's indefatigable services in the field of health are appreciable. He also joined hands with Government in provision of purified water and a large number of people of far-flung areas where water is polluted or brackish are enjoying this facility at their doorstep. Sardar Usman Buzdar said that Khawaja Jalaluddin roomi got resolved problems confronted by the business community.CM also eulogised his efforts in the agricultural economy of South Punjab and his continuous struggle to achieve the target of cotton production He ever played a positive role.he added.
