Greetings started pouring in on the success of noted industrialist Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi in the election of Dera Ghazi Khan Chamber of Commerce & Industry and becoming the President of DCCI.On the occasion of his success, eminent personalities greeted him including Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, Governor Punjab Ch.Muhammad Sarwar, Foreign Minister Majkhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Syed Fakhar Imam, APTMA's chief Gauhar Ijaz, Chairman Board of Investment (BOISardar Tanvir ilyas Khan felicitated Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi on his success as President of Dera Ghazi Khan and hope that Now backwardness and deprivations of this district would surely be ended and there would be an era of industrialisation.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday felicitated President Kh Jalaluddin Romi, vice president Latif Pitafi and other newly elected office-bearers of DG Khan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI).The Chief Minister said, "I am hopeful that the new office-bearers would work for industrialization as the PTI government was committed to bringing the backward areas at par with the developed cities".
He said, there was a lot of potential of trade and industry in DG Khan and the government would provide every possible support to industrialists for the promotion of industry. While the government was also setting up special economic zones forholistic development and employment-generation in south Punjab, he added.
Governor Punjab Ch.Muhammad Sarwar also extended his congratulation to renowned Industrialist cum Philanthropist Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi on his election as President of DCCI.He hailed him as an “inspiration” to people in public life whose passion for work and love for the country is “exemplary”.He said that he would soon visit to Dera Ghazi Khan .
Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said while felicitating Jalaluddin's roomi on his success in the Dera Ghazi khan Chamber election,we are “proud” to have a well-read and knowledgeable industrialist, who puts the country’s interest and serving the humanity above everything.

With prayers for a long and healthy life, he said, “Jalaluddin Roomi is an inspiration for all who are in public life.” “His passion for his work and love for country is exemplary,” he added.He said that Jalaluddin Roomi had served the people in different capacities like former Punjab caretaker Minister for Industries, Chairman of Management boards of Nishtar Medical College and Hospital, Industrial Estate, Multan Dryport Trust etc.
