Cyber Crime- Man involved in blackmailing woman held in Multan by FIA

MULTAN, June 28th: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber crime circle Multan has arrested a  man allegedly involved in uploading a married woman’s objectionable pictures on social media and blackmailing her to extort money and other ulterior motive.
FIA officials said Muhammad Arshad son of Ghulam Akbar resident of Nizamabad(Farooqpura) has made nude movie and objectionable photos of a housewife and started to blackmail her and he forced her to meet him at particular location but she refused to do so. Then he sent movie and photos to her husband Asif Nawaz and forced him to divorce her. Later he threatened to upload her photos and movies on social media  to make it viral.
The cyber crime circle of the agency launched an inquiry after receiving a complaint from the victim and her family. Arshad was subsequently arrested on June 28 and handed over to FIA's investigation officer  M.Suleman Saeed . He was booked under section 20, 21 & 24 for cyber-stalking and spoofing under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act.
Incharge Cyber crime circle Hassan Jalil told that when the accused forced the complainant to meet him at a pizza shop on Bosan road. Then raiding party allowed her to accept his offer and cordoned off the area. As soon as he entered the eatrie and met the complainant Rehana, FIA team overpowered him and recovered a Huawei Phone which contained objectionable material. Later he confessed the crime. FIA told that the accused was sending nude movie and obscene photos from Whatsapp No.0305-6446665 to 0316-8442279. FIA impounded the mobile phone and computer the suspect used.
Hassan Jalil said that we are interrogating the accused to apprehend other member of this gang if it is an organised gang.He said that  he wasusing different SIMs
