MULTAN - A girl who wants to marry PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reached the residence of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani yesterday to meet her ideal and propose him, but she was denied entry.
The budding PPP leader had come to Multan to address a party rally and was staying at the residence of former premier Yousuf Raza Gilani.
Kiran Baloch who, according to her, had been waiting for the past 10 years to meet the PPP chairman and propose him as her life partner reached Gilani’s residence, but she was denied entry. As the PPPP chairman was prepared to leave Gilani House for Karachi, the guards found Kiran Baloch standing at the gate, asking them to let her meet Bilawal, but to no avail.
“I have brought gifts for him. I want to speak my heart out in front of Bilawal. I want to marry him,” the girl said.
A resident of Timber Market area of Multan, Kiran said she waited for this moment for 10 long years, but the guards refused to let her enter Gilani House.
“I attended the public gathering at Qasim Bagh, went to Lahore and then come to Gilani House, but the cruel guards and secretaries did not allow me to sit in front of Bilawal,” she told this scribe.
“Just give me one chance to sit with him and speak my heart out. Then it’s his will whether he marries me or not,” she said. When asked what was in her heart, Kiran said she wanted to marry Bilawal.
