MULTAN,Sept 9th: At least ten member of a wedding party were killed and another nine injured when a Toyota Hiace van collided with a loaded trailer from backside near Chaubara (Layyah District) some 160 km north-west of Multan on Saturday evening. District emergency officer Dr.Sajjad Ahmed said that nine people were killed on the spot and another succumbed to injuries on way to Hospital. A Police officer Wasim Akbar Leghari also confirmed the death of ten people including three children and three women and four children. Their bodies were shifted to DHQ Hospital Layyah. Driver of Van Amanullah son of Muhammad Khan was among the deceased. DPO Layyah said that a wedding party was on its way to Fatehpur from Chak No.315/TDA. It collided head with a trailer loaded with Iron-bars from rear side because driver could not control the steering due to over speeding.. He said that this accident was occurred due to over-speeding and reckless driving. The injured were hospitalised where their condition is stated to be serious. Dr.Aftab Ahmed said that three were in precarious condition. Nine out of ten deceased were identified as Ahmed Ali son of Tahir Ali, Aamna Tahir Daughter of Tahir Ali, Eiman Nasir, Eiman Nasir and Iqra Nasir, Perveen Aslam D/O Muhammad Aslam, Ghafooran Bibi Wife of Liaquat Ali, Rasheedan bibi and van driver Amanullah son of Muhammad Khan. The injured were identified as Asad Ali S/O Akbar Ali, Aqasa Yaqoub D/O Muhammad Yaquob, Mubeen Aziz ,Muhammad Hafeez, Saklina bibi, Aslam, MusarratYaquob ,Rehan Yaquob, Misbah D/O Muhammad Akbar,Muqaddas wife of Hafeez, Asma Wife of Saqib
