28th: Oil-Tanker Driver Gul Muhammad who had received 80 percent burns
succumbed to burns in Pak-Italian Modern Burn Centre Multan on Wednesday. He was the hero of Ahmedpur east tragic incident who tried his utmost to keep the people away from the oil-tanker that day but failed. During this Oil-tanker caught fire and it buerst into pieces. Consequently the driver also received 80 % burns. Total
20 patients have so far been died in burn centre during last 48 hours.While
another six patients were shifted to Multan from Bahawalpur. Remaining 45 patients
are under treatment in Pak-Italian Modern Burn Centre .Dr.Naheed Anjum Chaudhry
Incharge of the centre told here today that A number of 59 people were shifted to
this centre from Ahmedpur east on Sunday and another six shifted today by Army
helicopters that day
