At least eleven people have died and sixteen other injured in two mishaps in Karachi and Kasur on Wednesday At least six people were killed and 12 others wounded when a passenger bus collided with a van near Kasur, rescue sources said.
Sources said the incident took place late Wednesday at Patoki-Multan Road near Kasur.
The dead also include a woman.
The injured were rushed to hospital for medical treatment.
The cause of accident could not immediately be known, sources added.
Five members of a family including children were killed and four others sustained injured when a huge stone fell over a house in Gulshan-e-Ghazi area of Baldia Town early on Thursday, police and rescue officials said.
SP Baldia Asif Razaq has confirmed a massive stone rolled down the house owned by Zamir Gul.
According to rescue sources, at least 6-7 family members including children were present in the home at the time of incident.
The deceased include Zamir Gul, his two daughters and a son.
