MULTAN,Feb 6th:: Five suspected terrorists were arrested after Counter-Terrorist Department (CTD) raided a house near the Sahu Chowk,Mati Tal road Multan. CTD officialsaid here today
Police officials received a tip-off after which it raided and arrest five men and recovered a number of weapons ,hand grenades and other explosive material.
The suspected terrorists are said to belong to the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). They were identified as Rooh-ullah Khan son of Hussain Khan,Rozi Khan son of Zaman Khan, Hakim Khan son of Qabul Khan, Nasrullah Khan son of Gul Rauf andZar-Saz Khan son ofAseel Khan who hailed from South Waziristan.They are suspected of plotting a terrorist attack on the building of Government departments, religious congregations, and installations . The hand grenades have been defused by the bomb disposal squad.Police have started further investigations and are interrogating the suspects for more information.
