MULTAN, Jan 12th: A Japanese civil Engineer,Okumura Katsumi (35) who was working in NITTOC construction company on National Highway from Rakhi Gaaj to Quetta on thursday committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of the hotel " Fast" on Tariq road Multan. A police officer Rana Zaheer Babur said that post mortem's initial report revealed that japanese had committed suicide because of domestic feud.Police said that he was living with his wife in the hotel but his wife wanted to go back Japan leaving him alone.He tried to convince her but failed.He wrote in his pre-suicide letter that her wiofe wanted to get divorce but he loves to much with her and he does not leave her. Police have recorded the statement of her wife and shifted her to safer place CPO Multan Ahsan Younas said everything has cleared after post mortem's initial report. However we are investigating his wife .The man, identified as Okumura Katsumi , fell from the second floor of a hotel named "Fast" in Multan’s Tariq Road area, Police reported.The police are investigating the matter as attempted suicide. The CCTV footage of the hotel showed that the deceased was going to the roof around 3:00 am and a letter was also found form his room in which he had mentioned intent to commit suicide due to family disputes. The Japanese citizen was working on a development project in Dera Ghazi Khan-Quetta road.Police said they found a letter from his room written in Japanese.
