MULTAN, Sept 19th: Ginners group headed by Haji Muhammad Akram
swept the poll by defeating newly emerged Progressive group for 15 seats of
Central Executive Committee on Monday.Those who have been elected as member of
CEC are: Sation Lal Wadhoni, Ramesh Babu, Prem Chand Kohistani, Jeso Mal,
Muhammad Akhlaq Ahmed, Qaiser Raza, Muhammad Saleem Akhtar ,Iftikhar Ali
,Marghoob Ali Butt, Mudassar Hussain , Mian Naveed Ayaz, Muhammad Owais Hafeez,
Mehtab Ahmed ,Muhammad Saleem and Dawood Ahmed.Progressive group have nominated
its 14 candidates against the 15 seats. According to Returning officer Asif
Khalil the winning candidates will be announced officially on Tuesday.He said that two
polling Polling stations were established in Karachi and Multan. He said that
there are 622 registered voters in Punjab while 174 in Sindh.
