MULTAN,July 22nd: A Kasur like child abuse scandal came to surface in Kotadu town of Muzaffargarh district.where three friends Muhammad Faisal (22)Abu bakr and Muhammad Shaam alias Shani subjected at least 26 children to sexual assault.They all belong to poor families .Kotadu Police arrested three member gang of child abusers who had confessed to sexually assaulting 26 children. DPO Muzaffargarh Awais Ahmed Malik told A special team of CIA police headed by Muhammad Khan Niazi was organised to arrest them The children abuse scandal surfaced after lifting a ten year old boy Muhammad Yousaf from the street and subjected him to sexual assault last week.He was a son of Murtaza Nizami, a caretaker of a mosque. When the parent saw his blood stained "Shalwar"they inquired about it. He narrated the whole story. Murtaza Nizami approached to Kotadu city Police and got registered a case but Police failed to apprehend them. Consequently a separate team was detailed which caught one of culprits Abu-Bakr on the pointation of the victim boy.Later police arrested another two culprits Faisal and Shaan. Police said, a number of parents have approached to police after their arrest. DPO Awais Malik said . "We have registered five cases on report of victims," and asked other parents to contact the police .SHO Kotadu Asghar Iqbal Leghari claimed that the accused have confessed to sexually assaulting at least 26 children. DPO said that the cases were registered under section 377 (Sodomy)and 367-A PPC under which they are liable to punished for life term or death sentence.Police said that Ten year old Muhammad Yousaf, Muhammad Tayyab (11)a student of 6th class, Saqlain (13) of 8th class, Abdullah (11) and Zeeshan Khan (12) have lodged their complaints and five cases were registered.
