Five attackers chopped off arms, lips and nose of a young man for honour in village Paigan (Dera Ghazi Khan)on Monday.He later succumbed to wounds in hospital due to overbleeding .The attackers took his limbs with them.DPO Dera Ghazi Khan Cap(Retd) Ata Muhammad Khan said ," It was an outcome of illicit relations and incident of honour killing. He said," Police is conducting raids to arrest the culprits. The brutal crime was committed against Allah Ditta, a resident of Mauza Sabra Nachan in the limits of Gaddai police station.According to local sources, Allah Ditta was married and had an affair with a married woman of Paigan village, who had earlier eloped with the victim but after intervention of elders of the both families was brought back to her husband’s house.
On Monday, Allah Ditta was again going to the lover's village to meet the woman then five people intercepted him. After overpowering the victim, the attackers chopped off his arms, lips and nose. While fleeing the scene, the assailants took the severed limbs along, leaving the victim in a pool of blood.The injured man was rushed to Trauma Centre of Dera Ghazi Khan hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.Station House Officer Gadai Ali Mohammad told a case No.375/16 had been registered under sections302, 334,148,149 against five relatives of the woman – Iqbal and Allah Divaya – and their three unidentified accomplices.
