MULTAN, April 12th: Two
death row prisoners were executed in Sahiwal and Faisalabad prisons on Tuesday
morning. Ch.Arshad Saeed Arain, Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister on prisons
told here today that One of the convicts Adeel Shehzad of Razaabad (Faisalabad)
had killed his female relative Zahida Nasim and her three children following
family feud in 2001. Anti Terrorism Court Faisalabad had awarded him death
sentence and this decision was upheld by superior courts.At last President of
Pakistan rejected his clemency plea. Similarly another convict Muhammad Ashraf alias Acchoo had killed one
waris Ali for old enmity. Ch.Arshad
Arain said that eight executions were
expected on April 14 in Punjab province.
