The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Monday claimed to have arrested three women suicide bombers from village Jhal Chakian, a suburb of Sargodha some 160 miles north of Multan. CTD DSP Ch.Liaquat Ali Tarar told AFP that three women ( a mother,her daughter and her son's wife) were arrested when CTD team raided a hideout,on a tip off . After a brief exchange of fire, three women suicide bombers were arrested while their two male accomplices managed to flee the scene.The identity of the women suicide bombers was not disclosed.The CTD officials also seized three hand grenades, four suicide jackets, and a huge quantity of bullets.The women suicide bombers were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
