MULTAN, April 9th: Four terrorists of banned outfit TTP were killed late Friday night during action by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Multan and Police in Jehanian( Khanewal) some 45 km south-east of Multan. CTD foiled their terrorism plot as the suicide bomber detonated himself during the clash, killing 4 of his terrorist accomplices.According to official handout CTD conducted the operation in Jehanian’s area of Lukkhi Tibi where an exchange of fire began between the CTD forces and the terrorists during which of the one of the terrorists blew himself. Two accomplices of the terrorists,according to them, managed to escape during the clash. According to CTD officials, the suspects were planning terrorist activities in sensitive areas of Multan.Automatic rifles, 2 pistols and suicide jacket were recovered from the exterminated terrorists.Their bodies were shifted to District Head Quarter Hospital Khanewal for post mortem.
