Four death row convicts executed in Punjab and Sindh

MULTAN, April 13th: Three death row prisoners were executed in Multan, Jhang  ,Sialkot and Larkana prisons on Wednesday morning. Ch.Arshad Saeed Arain, Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister on prisons told here today that One of the convicts Anwar-ul-Haq son of Abdullah R/O Chhab Kalana (Khanewal) was hanged in Central Jail Multan who had killed his real brother  Abdul Razzaq following land dispute in 2000 .Additional Session Judge Khanewal had awarded him death sentence and superior courts upheld the judgenment. Another convict Ghulam Farooq son of Ghulam Yasin was hanged in Sialkot prisons. He ghad killed two women and a man following old enmity in 1999. While Muhammad Irfan was hanged in District Jail Jhang .He had killed a woman when she resisted during a dacoity in 2006. A death row prisoner Waris Mir Bahr was executed in Larkana (Sindh) who had killed  a  PIA employee and injured the other on resistence when he and his nine accomplices attempted to loot a PIA van carrying cash in 1995. Ch.Arshad Arain said that  eight executions were expected on April 14 in Punjab province.
